Do Not Disturb My Comments AI – Spam-Check Service Last updated: 09-28-2026

This policy explains what the free spam-check service (“the Service”) used by the Do Not Disturb My Comments AI plugin does with data. It’s run by Chidiebere Chukwudi (“we”, “us”).

1. When we receive data Only after a site administrator selects “Built-in service” and saves the Plugin’s settings. After that, one request is sent each time a visitor who isn’t a site moderator submits a comment.

2. What we receive Each request contains:

• the title of the post being commented on
• the commenter’s name
• the commenter’s website address, if they gave one
• the comment text

We also see the IP address of the website’s server that sends the request. We don’t receive the commenter’s email address or the commenter’s IP address.

3. What we do with it

• The comment: we pass it to Jev, TypeSafe AI’s model, through Cloudflare, to get a spam score, which we send back to the website. That’s the only thing we use it for.
• The server IP address: we use it only to apply the fair use limit of 20 checks per minute per site.

4. What we store We don’t store comments, names or website addresses. Each request is processed and then discarded.

Cloudflare, which hosts the Service, keeps basic technical logs (such as the time of a request, whether it succeeded, and any error messages) for up to [7] days so we can fix problems. These logs aren’t used for anything else.

5. Who else processes the data

We don’t sell, rent or share the data with anyone else, and we don’t use it to train AI models or for advertising.

6. Cookies and tracking The Service doesn’t use cookies, analytics or tracking of any kind.

7. Your role as a site owner For comments on your site, you decide to use the Service, so you’re responsible for telling your visitors about it, for example in your site’s privacy policy. We process the data only on your behalf, and only to check comments for spam.

8. Your visitors’ rights We don’t keep comment data, so there’s normally nothing for us to look up, correct or delete. If you or a visitor has a privacy question, email [your contact email] and we’ll help.

9. Changes If we change how the Service handles data, we’ll update this page and its “Last updated” date.
